Pica Pica Part MBV, part Wild Nothing, part Suicide. This is an awesome release full of lush textures, rumbling bass, and static guitar. Hushed vocals tell a mythic tale of memories, ghosts, and reflections. Great stuff. Favorite track: The Ghost of the Lady Tiger.

-DOCUMENTATION OF A DRIVE ON ROUTE 99 NORTH IN THE LATE WINTER OF 2017-
Wearily making the trip alone and with heavy heart, I came across TWO spectral visitors.
First encounter was off exit 109 after filling up the tank with gasoline around 7 pm. Sun on its way down as I look east exiting the station. A small pale blue translucent apparition about 60 feet away. The entity was on train tracks with no distinction of being male or female as it was in, what seemed to be, the "traditional" garb of a ghost. That of a hooded robe or cloak. As I proceed onto the street to park on the shoulder, I get out of the car and approach only to see it, nonchalantly, move in the opposite direction and dissipate.
Second encounter found me six hours later in Live Oak, Ca. After trying to take a nap at an Arco for a couple of hours, my anxiety got the best of me as I tried to comprehend the event from earlier. Regretting the coffee I drank throughout the journey; I take a small drive west of the station onto Pennington Rd. About a mile up I notice what looks like a huge yellow dog crossing the street towards the right side of the road and almost into some bushes. As I drive past the animal, I faintly see big dark strips on the back of it. But as soon as I see it, the animal starts turning towards car, I can start to see through it as it goes upright and transforms into the shape of a woman...
